Beginner Belly Dancing Classes - 10 weeks

The 10 week term of 1 hour per week will teach you the basic movements of belly dancing after warming up and stretching. Movements will be consolidated each week, adding new steps which we put together into a short dance.

Dance styles taught are Classical Egyptian, Modern Egyptian, Tribal and various regional styles. These styles often incorporate veils, zills (finger cymbals), sticks or swords.

The classes are relaxed and friendly and students are encouraged to progress at their own pace.

Missed classes can be made up at other timeslots of the same level during the term.

The studio is fully air conditioned, with shower facilities and refreshments are available before and after class.

Location

This course takes place in College Park, directly across the road from the ‘Maid and Magpie’ hotel.

Car parking is available in our own car park, or nearby residential streets.

Numbers

The classes will have between 10 – 25 students per class.

Session Time

Students can begin their lessons either at the start of a term or up to 3 weeks into the current term and make up their missed classes at other time slots. The 9 week course is for 1 hour per week.
